Felt flower brooch tutorial

This felt flower is very easy to  make and can be used as a brooch/stuck on a headband, handbag or on a present as a decoration.

Here is the tutorial...

 You will need:
2 different colours of felt
Thread
Ribbon/lace of your choice
1 button
Clasp/clip

Cut circles from felt (there should be 8 in total) 2 of the biggest size that you want, 2 of the second biggest size, 1 of the 3rd biggest, 1 of the fourth biggest, 1 of the fifth biggest and 1 of the smallest one - you can use anything from jar lids to glue caps to get the shapes) Cut a small piece out of each one (similar to cutting a slice out of a pie), EXCEPT for the smallest circle - leave that one whole.
Sew the edges together as shown in the following picture.
Attach the ribbon/lace to the biggest felt circle.
Place the various layers of felt on each other - make sure that you layer them so that you can still see the layers below. Then attach the button, sewing through all the layers. If you want to add more ribbon you can attach it at the same time.
Glue a clasp/clip onto the remaining felt circle.
Then glue this onto the felt flower that you have made.
And you are DONE!
Ready, set, wear!
